Throughout the year, old traditions are cultivated in a contemplative way. Venerable traditional festivals such as the Alt-Schlierseer Kirchtag, the Corpus Christi procession, the Leonhardifahrt from Schliersee to Fischhausen, are just a few highlights from the cultural course of the year. In addition, the partly listed buildings are cherished and preserved.

Particularly worthy of mention are the Schliersee churches of St. Sixtus, St. Martin, St. Leonhard and St. George’s Chapel on the vineyard, as well as the historic town hall, the local history museum and the Schliersee farmer’s theater.
